XVIII. CRIME
Statistics presented in the following tables are obtained
from the Office of Myanmar Police Force and Prisons Department.
Crime
Table 18.01 shows selected crimes by type of offence. Data
are also shown State and Division-wise in Table 18.02.
Prisoners
Table 18.03 and 18.04 provide data on convicts and undertrials
imprisoned in jails, gender-wise and State and Division-wise
respectively.
Traffic Accidents
Table 18.05 and 18.06 show traffic accidents by type and
by causes. Table 18.07 indicates statistics on traffic accidents
in state and division by type. The data shown in table 18.08
are those of the traffic accidents in state and division by
various causes. Data on traffic accidents are obtained from
Myanmar Police Force.
